Pretty Woman Outfit

 

Remember that classic movie "Pretty Woman" with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere? My favorite scene, and likely one of the most popular, was when Vivian walked into that boutique, looking like a million bucks, where they had refused to tend to her the day before. That woman who had been so rude to her was left in utter shock 😂 She missed out on what may have been the biggest commission of her life, and all for judging a book by its cover. Where am I going with this?

  Well, I had my Pretty Woman moment, specifically walking into work on my last day, looking like a million bucks and being missed out on, but this post isn't about that day. It's just about the outfit 😅 For those who know me, I am a HUGE fan of SHEIN. Yes, Shein! I'd say I've gotten at least half of my wardrobe from Shein. From skirts, dresses, pants, blouses, shoes, purses, coats, pet items, you name it, I've gotten it from Shein. The prices are literally half what they are in stores, and let me tell you, I have seen the EXACT same items in big retail stores for at least double what Shein has them for. 

 But Omie, you may ask, it's hard to shop for clothes online, how do I know they'll fit? Is it good material? What about the return process? First, the key is reading the reviews and sizing details. Look at the ratings,  and look through the reviews, especially from others who have similar body measurements. I really appreciate how thorough most people are with their reviews on Shein; they go into great detail, even uploading photos of their purchases and making their recommendations, whether it's yay or nay. As for returns, they are simple and easy - the FIRST return is completely free. Any other returns afterward are $7.99, BUT they subtract that amount from your total amount to be refunded, which I personally like. In the 5 years I've purchased from Shein, I've returned about 20 items (which isn't bad considering the years), and I have never had an issue with my returns. There's no label printing involved - just download the QR code they provide and go to your nearest UPS store. 

 Okay, so where are the goods? These are some of my FAVORITE pieces! A few are solid-colored for endless outfits, and others have a print that can be mixed and matched any way you want! The beautiful, simple detail with the batwing sleeves can be paired with jeans and white sneakers, a nice pair of slacks, or a skirt with or without a print 😃

And, you're right, you could, BUT think about this: how many times would you have to go to a clothing store to hope to find a solid, uniquely colored pair of slacks with pockets and belt loops for $21? I've tried it, and more money and time are spent driving to different stores trying to find a pair of pants like this. Just saying.
